Star Trek (past and present, and its beautiful cast), Sherlock, Michael Fassbender, Tom Hiddleston, Mumford & Sons, John Green (always reblog), Parks & Recreation, images of geekitude, general gayety.

So I heard a comment that gay (and “even” bisexual) men simply cannot play badass roles.

OMG! A question!

Fact 1: This is my first list type question on Tumblr, even though I’ve had this blog for a couple of years (off and on)

Fact 2: I’m South African, born and bred in Johannesburg

Fact 3: I’m an accountant and I work at one of the Big Four accounting firms

Fact 4: I lived and worked in San Francisco for 6 months in 2011/2012. It’s my favourite city in the entire world.

Fact 5: If I was truly brave, I would quit accounting and be a writer (probably short stories)

Fact 6: I’m doing a one-year diploma this year, but as soon as I’m done I’m going to buy a cello and start learning how to play

Fact 7: This year I’ve been a red-head, a blonde and a brunette

Fact 8: My mom was diagnosed with cancer in November last year and she has completed chemotherapy. She has a double mastectomy scheduled for next month

Fact 9: When I was a baby I was electrocuted when I pulled on an electric cable that wasn’t insulated. I nearly died - my heart stopped in the ambulance. I still have the scars on my hands and fingers.

Fact 10: I have a lightning bolt tattooed on my wrist in commemoration of surviving the above mentioned :)
